The free audit

What we actually send you.

Most “free audits” are a PDF from a tool with your logo dropped on the front. Ours is 28 pages written after somebody has actually opened your site, searched your terms, and looked at who is beating you. The pages below are a real sample — same layout, same depth, invented business.

No obligation · No card · We will tell you if you do not need us

By the numbers
Pages28Not a one-page scorecard with a logo on it.
Sections8Site, rankings, citations, competitors, authority, plan.
Checks58Each one graded, each one with a written note.
Ranked moves12Ordered by impact against effort, not by our margin.
Sample pages

Eight pages from a sample audit.

Built for a fictional pool company so we can show the real layout without publishing a client’s numbers — every audit we deliver carries a confidentiality clause. Click any page to see it full size. The figures are invented; the structure is exactly what you get.

What we look at

Where the 28 pages go.

01

Your site, graded

Fifty-eight checks across first impressions, SEO content, technical health, design and UX, conversion, and accessibility. Every row carries a note about what we found, not a generic definition. Most of what surfaces here is web development work, and a fair amount of it you could do yourself.

02

Map pack and rankings

Where you place for the searches that actually book jobs, with monthly volume, plus the sponsored layer above the organic three-pack that most local businesses never contest. Feeds directly into Google Business Profile work and local SEO.

03

Citations and consistency

Every directory you are listed on, missing from, or listed on with an old phone number. Unglamorous, cheap to fix, and one of the few things with a documented effect on how complete your profile looks.

04

Who is beating you

The businesses ranking above you, how much traffic they pull, how far their keyword footprint overlaps yours, and the structural reason for the gap. Usually it is not budget — it is that they have pages you do not.

Authority and AI visibility

Backlink profile, a toxic link check, and whether you show up at all across ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Copilot and Grok. That last one is new, and most local businesses sit at zero.

06

Twelve ranked moves

Everything above turned into an ordered list by impact against effort, flagged where it is a quick win, where it needs paid budget, and where it is foundational. It ends with the plan that fits your business rather than a proposal for everything we sell.

Honest version

Why we give this away.

Because the audit is the sales pitch. If we can tell you something useful about your own business that you did not already know, you will probably want to talk. If we look at your site and it is already doing its job, we will say that too — and you will have a 28-page document for free.

It takes us a few days of real work per audit, which is why we do not run them for everyone. If your business is one of the categories we work in, it is worth asking. You can see what we have built and read the longer case studies first if you would rather judge the work before the pitch, or read how we work to see what happens after the audit.

Ask for yours.
